MINIMUM ORDERS & DELIVERY FEES

On orders above the minimum for your area, we try NOT to charge for delivery, pick-up or install. For orders less than the minimum, we will add the difference to your total. Some areas of the South Coast are further and so higher minimums are necessary. Most deliveries exceed the minimums and so for the majority of our customers, delivery is complimentary. For orders not meeting the minimum, please just add items or a fee will be charged for the difference between your total and the minimum. Please see the minimum order list below.

OFF-HOUR LABOUR CHARGES

The event industry works during some unusual hours. Custom Event Rentals can often be seen packing our trailers while watching the sunrise. Unfortunately this is a costly approach to doing business. For this reason we only offer free delivery between the hours of 8am and 8pm. On weekdays, we really appreciate deliveries being set after 10am to avoid rush hour. An additional 10% of the order total will be applied for Statutory Holiday labour.

WHY is delivery the only option available?

We want to provide a pick-up option, but as cedar is a softwood, our furniture can be easily scratched, dented or scuffed. We use special techniques and equipment that ensure your order gets to you in the best condition possible. Our trailers are also custom fitted and built to accommodate the size and weight of our rental inventory. Currently, this is the only service available, but since most deliveries are free, we hope you understand.

why overnight rentals are 2-day rentals?

The 1-Day Rental Rate we provide is for orders delivered and picked-up between the hours of 8am and 8pm, 7-days a week. This allows the items you have rented to be available for another client the following day. Also we may not require the additional staff the next day, if your order is retrieved that night. If we are required at your event site during hours outside these times, then the OFF-HOUR LABOUR CHARGES will apply.

Additional costs for extraordinary delivery

For most deliveries, we can access the placement area for the rental items with little difficulty. Some events, however, are located in places ranging from "the inaccessible and almost impossible" to "delivery resistant". It is in these case where we need to add an extraordinary delivery fee. The charge is based on degree of difficulty on a scale of 1 to 5. Or $100, $200, $300, $400, $500. We call it our "Path Not Great Scale."
